Union General Hospital
Cork-Howard negotiated the $5 million two-phased project with Union General Hospital that entailed a total renovation to the West Wing of the fully operational hospital, including new HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas infrastructure. Additionally, the Labor, Delivery, Recovery and C-Section suite of the hospital also received a complete renovation. Due to the inability to “schedule” baby deliveries, this area could not be shut down or impaired in any manner. This project was recognized by the Associated General Contractors as the 2008 Build Georgia Award WINNER.
