Union General Hospital
WINNER: Associated General Contractors' 2008 Build Georgia Award.
Cork-Howard negotiated the $5 million two-phased project with Union General Hospital that entailed a total renovation to the West Wing of the fully operational hospital, including new HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas infrastructure. Additionally, the Labor, Delivery, Recovery and C-Section suite of the hospital also received a complete renovation. Due to the inability to “schedule” baby deliveries, this area could not be shut down or impaired in any manner.
