Open Heart Surgical Suite
WINNER: 2005 Association of General Contractors' Build Georgia Award
This three-phased project was the culmination of years of a controversial process and many last-minute alterations that impacted the details within the project. Winner of the 2005 Association of General Contractor’s Build Georgia Award, two state-of-the-art operating rooms were built inside Kennestone Hospital. Also included in this multi-phased project was the construction and installation of a redundant HVAC system to meet the unique demands of this surgical suite, as well as the renovation to eight post-op patient rooms and nurses’ station.
