Holy Trinity Parish-Episcopal
The difficulty in converting an outdated 1960’s day school, in poor condition to one of aesthetic value proved to be no contest to the Cork-Howard team. This two-story building which had once served as a shelter had become neglected throughout the years. Cork-Howard renovated this into a practical, multi-purpose building, named the Comer Resource Center. It now houses classrooms and conference rooms which are used for many of the Church’s outreach programs. Cork-Howard met the challenging budget requirements while providing a nice facility to the church. The neighborhood responded by presenting the new building with a Decatur Community Development Award.
